The company "Sports Technologies Center" was founded in 1992, and at the beginning of its activity was developed and produced ski poles and rackets for tennis. The production was located in the shops of the experimental combine "Hockey".
Starts development and construction of own production in city Balabanovo.
1992
The company completely transfers its production facilities to Balabanovo.
1995
STC starts producing cross-country skiing.
1997
STC concludes the first contract for the supply of skis for export. From this moment begin active cooperation with the companies KARHU, PELTONEN, MADSHUS, GERMINA.
1998
Began production of hockey sticks and pucks.
2000
STC concludes contracts for the supply of ski equipment for ROSSIGNOL and ATOMIC.
2002
During its activity, the company has become a leader among Russian enterprises that produce sports equipment. It should be noted that the "Sports Technologies Center" is a private enterprise that does not have a "state past". Currently, the factory employs 350 people.
